Fab 2 Order's sheet metal fabrication shop is equipped with high power flat bed laser cutting machines to meet your production and prototyping needs. Fab 2 Order specializes in processing a variety of materials, including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. We are committed to continuously improving our fabrication capabilities to maximize efficiency and productivity. The Trumpf L3040 and Trumpf L3030 laser cutting machines at our job shop enable us to process the widest range of flat sheets and plates
Positioning tolerances of +/- 0.004” and repeatability of +/- 0.001” are achieved on our laser cutting machines. We cut steel up to 0.750” thick, stainless steel up to 0.625” thick, and aluminum up to 0.375” thick. Sheet metals, with sizes up to 60” x 120”, can be laser cut with high levels of accuracy.
We continuously invest in modern laser cutting technologies, and our latest addition is the Trumpf 3040. The Trumpf L3040’s special control systems and quick-change heads facilitate clean, fast, as well as precise cutting of flat sheet metal parts. We operate our two flat-bed laser cutting machines in multiple shifts for at least 200 hours each week. As a result, we are always prepared to meet your turnaround requirements. |

For all your sheet metal fabrication needs, we serve as a one-stop-shop, offering a complete range of secondary services - from shearing and saw cutting to welding. Some of the materials that we process include stainless steel, aluminum, mild steel, and copper. Our in-house tapping and drilling capabilities enable us to fabricate work pieces with thread holes, precisely. The Clausing drill presses at our job shop enable us to accurately drill small or large holes on work pieces, fixtures, and large parts.
By countersinking, we can enhance the surface finishes of your drilled and tapped metal products. With our versatile Piranha P-50 Iron Worker, we handle bending, bar shearing, punching, and notching operations on metal fabrications, with ease. The P-50’s dovetail slide enables fast changeover from punching to bending. Furthermore, urethane strippers of the P-50 help in reducing part distortion during punching. Using a horizontal band saw from Clausing, we also cut miters on work pieces of varying thicknesses. |

Quality Process |
A variety of inspection equipment including, tape measures, protractors, calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, dial calipers, as well as coordinate measuring machines are used to inspect critical tolerances and dimensions in punched parts. As our inspection tools are matched to the quality requirements of our customers' parts, defect-free, high quality parts are delivered to our customers. Our quality system adheres to customers' quality standards, which allow us to customize and match our capabilities to their specific quality requirements. |
